The club once again turned out 2 full teams of 10 to compete in the Bradford Millennium Way Relay, a challenging long distance off-road relay of 47 miles, involving 6300 ft of climbing. We had an excellent ladies team out this year, and they did very well to finish in 21st place overall out the 50 competing teams, and 2nd in category. They were actually the first ladies team to finish, in 18th overall, and would have won the Ladies team trophy if they hadn't incurred a 10 minute penalty after the misfortune of Faye Beckett injuring herself on the final leg, and being unable to complete her run with Jenny Latham. Jenny was easily the fastest lady on leg 5, even after stopping for several minutes with Faye.
The men's team performed well too, coming 8th overall after Chris Ward and Adam Peers got them off to a flying start by coming 2nd on leg 1.
