13th Apr 2008. Excellent turnout at Harriers Spring Open Medals Meeting.
There was an excellent turnout of over 370 athletes for the Spring Open Medals Meeting, with visitors
from all over the North of England visiting us at Thornes Park Stadium. It was good to see Zara
Hohn using the meeting for her first run of the season outdoors, though she didn't have much
opposition in the 200m. There were some good quality throwing competitions, and probably the
best Wakefield performances were by Zoe Kerins, with an impressive 100m & 200m sprint double
in the U13 Girls, and a 100m, Long Jump & High Jump treble from Grace Eyles in the U15 Girls.
