AC Open MeetingReport by: Martin Cunnane Dual world veteran's medallist Brian Shearsmith was on the winners' podium again at the Vets AC Open Meeting which was held at Kings Meadow Stadium, Kingston upon Thames, where he sprinted powerfully to notch a notable treble in winning the O55 men's 100m, 200m and 400m in times of 12.5, 25.9 and 62.2 secs respectively. With the UK 100m title and 100m relay gold and 400m relay silver medals safely under his belt this season, Shearsmith will be training hard with an eye to next year's European Vets Championships which will be held in Finland. |
