Ninth Meeting

The usual bunch of athletes turning out this month with one old boy we haven't seen for a long time - welcome Mark Domaille (you won't con the handicapper next time, Mark).

I don't want to moan, but I find it incredible that some of our members will travel miles for a Vets League race (or to train at a pub with another club) yet here we are, putting on an event on the doorstep and yet the regulars only turn up. Is there something wrong with what we're doing?

The venue, again, was very welcoming, good ale, friendly landlord, lots of space for us to spread out and enjoy the after-run chat. Guess who missed the start (despite being there before most others were)?

No change to the lead in any of the tables. Richard West increased his lead in the senior men's table. In the Ladies table, Dot continues to lead and in the Vets' table, Stuart Anderson maintains his supremacy.
