Kerry Jury, Wakefield Harriers' multi-events specialist, represented Great Britain at an indoor combined events tournament in Prague, Czech Republic.
Jury, who was under the weather, completed 11 five events to place 13th overall with a points total of 3772. She clocked 8.84 secs in the 60m hurdles, cleared 1.69m in the high jump, had 10.51m in the shot, measured 5.33m in the long jump, and clocked 2:26.16 for the 800m.
Team-mate Julie Holtman won the event with 4392 points which broke the
previous women's indoor pentathlon record of 4363 set by Kim Haggar in
February 1984.
Great Britain and Northern Ireland won the team event ahead of Spain, France, Holland and the Czech Republic.
