England sprint ace Emily Freeman was beaten into second in the 200m of the Lansing Linde Severnside Trophy indoor international in Cardiff. She clocked 25.04 secs to the winner's 24.39. Freeman helped her England side to a team medley win in 3:54.77. England won the overall match.
Freeman also impressed recently at the Norwich Union Grand Prix at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham. A Jamaican won the 200m in 22.84 secs with Freeman securing sixth in 24.75 secs.
Freeman is now gearing up her training to the outdoor summer programme.
