I went to Grimsby on the 7th of may for the Kitt Bell memorial open meet with another two girls. One called Samantha Swaine (U11 girls) who came 4th in her heat for the 80m sprint with 13.1 and came 7th in the longjump with 3.02,and the other one called Samantha Lambert (U13 girls) with 14.2 for 2nd place in the 100m with a girl called A Lewis from Kingston Upon Hull who came 1st with 13.5 and third was L Hyde from Cleethorpes with 14.5. I came 4th in the longjump with 3.27 (I was in second place upto the last round) - 1st was E Simpson from Scunthorpe with 3.55, 2nd was C Mcphee from Kingston upon Hull with 3.35 3rd was Z Garton from Kingston upon Hull and came 4th in my heat for the 80m with 13.3 (a new PB). The conditions were very sunny with a cool breeze. One more thing me and Samantha Swaine entered the four times 100m relay with a Spenborough girl called Becky Rowlands and Sarah Davey from Cleethorpes, we managed to get second place even though only me and Samantha had raced together before.
