On a hot sunny day, 23rd June I went to the Brian Woolley Memorial Wrexham Games 2001. I took part in both the U11g 80m and long jump.

In the 80m I equalled my pb which is 13.4s and came joint 10th out of 19.

In the long jump I came 2nd with 3m 50 (my pb is 3m54), My 1st jump was 3m10 followed by 3m 07 and then even worse I did a longer jump which was a no jump. My 4th and final jump (we all got to do 4 jumps) I managed 3m 50 and went into 2nd place. The first 6 results in the long jump were:
