Help The Aged Abbey Dash 10kReport by: Bryan MurrayTop female distance runner Penny Thackray, of Wakefield Harriers, finished second in the women's section of the recent Leeds Abbey Dash. Thackray clocked a personal best 33 mins 34 secs, ten seconds adrift of race winner Lyne McDougall from Glasgow. The annual race was run in aid of the Help the Aged charity.
